Canada's Ministry of Health announced the collection of counterfeit Viagra pills from small stores in Toronto
Canadian health authorities have seized counterfeit drugs Viagra and Cialis, which are used for erectile dysfunction, from two small Toronto convenience stores. These counterfeit products were sold without packaging. Viagra 100 mg was sold at Daisy Mart on East Eglinton Street, while Cialis 20 mg tablets were sold at MJ Mini Mart on Jane Street.
The Ministry of Health and the authorized manufacturers of Viagra and Cialis confirmed that the seized products were counterfeit and had incorrect expiry dates.
Counterfeit products such as Viagra and Cialis are labeled as containing the active ingredients sildenafil and tadalafil. Sildenafil and tadalafil are prescription drugs used to treat erectile dysfunction and should only be used under the supervision of a professional.
If you buy any of these drugs from Toronto convenience stores, stop using them immediately and throw them away, the Ministry of Health said. If you use these products, be sure to consult a specialist and buy your prescription drugs from licensed pharmacies.
