British Columbia government announces Highway 1 summer expansion plan
The British Columbia government has announced plans to expand Highway 1 in the Langley region. The project, which is part of the Highway 1 Corridor Improvement Program in the Fraser Valley, includes 10 kilometers of the highway. This expansion includes HOV lanes and special lanes for electric vehicles. The project aims to reduce the Fraser Valley. A contract worth 140 million dollars has been signed for this project.
Another of the projects, which includes crossing Glover Road, is nearing completion. The Langley East MP thanked motorists for their patience during construction. This new report shows the government to improve infrastructure and reduce traffic problems in the region.
