A woman has died after being stabbed at a central Mississauga hotel
A woman's body was found stabbed to death at a downtown Mississauga hotel Monday morning, according to Peel Regional Police officers.
Police officers were called to a hotel at the intersection of Whittle Road and British Road East, near Hurontario Avenue and Highway 401, around 9:30 a.m. A woman, said to be in her 50s, was found in a hotel room.
Officers are reviewing hotel camera footage and say a male suspect has been identified.
The woman's death is the 12th homicide of 2024 in Peel County.
