A 72-year-old woman used a shovel to remove a naked man from her Vancouver home Tuesday night, police said. Vancouver police said in a statement that the man entered the home by breaking a window with a sharp metal bar. The woman, who lived alone in her house, got out of bed, grabbed a shovel and followed the man who was swinging a pole at her.

Neighbors called 911 and officers were called to the scene. The woman was able to trap the suspect in her car until the police arrived.

The police announced that this man has been charged and is still in custody.
