$70 million Lotto Max winner from Ottawa
On May 31, 2024, a woman from Ottawa named Patricia "Patty" Warden won the $70 million Lotto Max prize. The winning ticket in Mr. Gas was purchased on Ogilvie Road in east Ottawa.
Patricia, 49, said in an interview that she plans to use the money to help others, especially those in need. He said he has faced many challenges in the past, including cancer and drug addiction, but is now 25 years clean and wants to use his newfound wealth to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
This is the second time in 2024 that the winning Lotto Max ticket has been sold in Ontario. In April, a Toronto man won another $70 million prize.
Loto Max is a Canada-wide lottery game operated by Crown Corporation Loto-Québec. This game is held twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays. The Lotto Max jackpot starts at $10 million and can go up to $70 million. To win the jackpot, you must pick all seven numbers correctly.
