3 people died after a plane crash in British Columbia
Approximately 100 kilometers east of Vancouver, a small Piper PA-34 Seneca twin-engine airplane suddenly crashed, resulting in the tragic loss of three passengers. The incident occurred near Chilliwack, B.C., in the vicinity of Chilliwack Airport. The pilot and all on board, including a captain, tragically lost their lives. Pete Hiley has reported that the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) have notified the families of the victims.
The exact cause of the airplane crash remains unclear, and the Transportation Safety Board of Canada is currently dispatching investigators to conduct a thorough examination of the incident.
In an official statement, the RCMP has confirmed that the scene is under control, and there is no danger or harm to the local community. Health emergency services have reported that five ambulances and one emergency supervisor responded to the scene. Additionally, two air ambulance helicopters were en route to the area but were canceled before reaching the crash site.
