Controversial revelation about cloned meat in Canada
Controversial Exposed to Canadian Cloned Meat!
A new video from Lisa Robinson, a councillor for Pickering in east Toronto, Ontario, has garnered a lot of attention on social media and sparked a huge debate about food safety in Canada.
In the video, Robinson says to the camera:
“When you’re shopping at the grocery store, ask yourself… is the meat or dairy you’re buying real or cloned?”
She claims that Health Canada has changed the rules so that meat and dairy from cloned animals can now be marketed:
Without a label
Without a warning
Without a safety review
And without public notification
So consumers have no way of knowing.
Elsewhere in the video, Robinson says:
“If the health of live animals isn’t checked before they’re slaughtered, how can we trust the oversight of cloned meat?”
He warns that the law may already be in effect and some of these products may still be in stores.
The video has led many people to raise serious questions about government transparency and food safety.
What do you think?
Should labeling be mandatory?
