Winning $70 million Lotto Max ticket sold in Toronto
A winning Lotto Max ticket from last night's draw was sold in Toronto.
The winning jackpot for the draw on Friday, April 19 was $70 million and no winner has yet claimed.
A news release from OLG, the province's lottery and gambling regulator, says the winner or winners will be determined when they claim it through the OLG Prize Center.
"Check your Lotto Max Ontario tickets as last night's winning tickets have been sold across the province, including the winning ticket that won the $70 million jackpot," the statement read in part.
"The winning $70 million jackpot ticket has been sold for the Lotto Max draw on Friday, April 19, 2024 in Toronto!"
Other prizes in excess of $1 million were also sold across Ontario, including two Maximillion tickets, a Lotto Max ticket that won second prize and two Encore tickets.
The tickets were sold in Prince Edward County, Hastings County, as well as in Toronto and Mississauga.
