Tuesday's Lotto Max draw set to hit all-time Canadian record of $80 million after no Friday winner
For the first time in Canadian lottery history, the national Lotto Max jackpot has reached $80 million.
The draw for this unprecedented amount along with 18 Maxmillion $1 million prizes is set for Tuesday, September 17.
Earlier this month, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) announced that it had increased its top Lotto Max prize by $10 million to a maximum of $80 million.
The draw was held on Friday, September 13, with an estimated $75 million, but no one won, meaning the top prize is now $80 million. The number of Maxmillions prizes will also increase.
After the winner is determined, the main Lotto Max prize will revert back to $10 million. Maxmillion prizes that do not have a winner will be added back into the draw.
Raffles are held on Tuesdays and Fridays.
