Toronto police alert; asking for help identifying suspected child molester
Toronto police are investigating a case of criminal harassment and molestation of children in Withrow Park in Toronto and are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect. According to an official police report, the incident occurred in Withrow Park and the children's parents contacted police after observing suspicious behavior. According to information released by the Toronto Police Service, an unknown man was present in the park and began distributing leaflets with inappropriate and immoral content to children. After doing this, the suspect immediately fled the scene. After receiving a report from the parents, police officers began their investigation and have released images of the suspect to the public to help identify him. Police emphasized that this case is being followed with great care and sensitivity and that the safety of the children is the main priority of the investigation. Official information indicates that the suspect is a man approximately 183 cm tall, between 30 and 40 years old, with a slim build and a short brown beard, who was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket and a black and gray duffel bag. Police are asking anyone with information about the identity of the suspect or his whereabouts to contact police immediately. Police are also asking parents to report any suspicious behavior in public areas immediately. The case remains under investigation and police said additional information will be released as needed.
