According to Toronto police, officers were trying to stop the car near Eva Road and Highway 427 around 5:30 a.m. Monday. This car, which was trying to escape from the police, overturned in the parking lot of an apartment on Eva Street. The pictures obtained from the scene of the accident show that a number of cars in the parking lot have suffered significant damage.

Two occupants of the overturned car were arrested on the spot. Both passengers and a police officer were taken to hospital with injuries.
