The end of daylight saving time in Canada is near
Starting Sunday morning, November 2, 2025, most of Canada will set its clocks back one hour. That means an extra hour of sleep, but in return, the days will be shorter and the evenings will get darker earlier.
The goal of Daylight Saving Time was to make more use of daylight, but many experts now believe that the change is no longer beneficial and can even disrupt sleep, reduce concentration, and lower mood.
Currently, most Canadian provinces still follow this rule, but regions like Saskatchewan and Yukon will not change their clocks.
🔹 The next Daylight Saving Time will begin on March 8, 2026.
🔸 Don't forget: Set your clocks back one hour on Saturday night, November 1, and enjoy that sweet extra sleep!
