The beloved Christmas Train returns to Montreal this year to fill the city with light, music and kindness. The beautiful train, decorated with colorful decorations and live bands, stops at various stations and performs a cheerful, family-friendly program for about 30 minutes.

But the event is not just about celebration; its main goal is to help those in need. Participants can join in this kind tradition by donating non-perishable food items or cash donations to food banks.

Since its inception in 1999, the Christmas Train has raised more than 5.3 million pounds of food and $24.3 million in cash donations, and remains one of Montreal’s most beloved winter traditions.
