The beginning of December in the metropolis of Toronto with 5 cm of snow
Despite winter not having arrived yet, the city of Toronto will experience its first taste of very cold weather and even snowfall with the arrival of December.
Light snowfall on Thursday afternoon in the city of Toronto is a prelude to the first real snowfall expected in this area on Saturday.
Environment Canada has issued a warning that the entry of a weak low-pressure system over the province will cover parts of southern Ontario, including the northern areas of the Golden Horseshoe, with five centimeters of snow on Saturday.
Although the organization admits that there are still uncertainties about the location and amount of snowfall, it is expected that this system will arrive on Saturday morning or early afternoon.
Environment Canada has warned that snowfall may make travel difficult in some areas and impact traffic during busy hours in certain urban areas.
