Suspect sought after teen boy repeatedly stabbed
Windsor police are searching for a suspect after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed multiple times following a verbal argument Saturday night.
Shortly after 11:30 p.m. Saturday, officers were dispatched to a report of a stabbing at a park in the 600 block of Bruce Street, according to the Windsor Police Department.
Police found a 16-year-old boy who had been stabbed in the body.
The victim suffered serious stab wounds and was taken to hospital, where he is listed in serious but stable condition.
Police said the incident began when a verbal altercation broke out between the victim and an unknown man. The suspect then pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim several times before fleeing the scene in a white vehicle.
The suspect is described as a dark-skinned man, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and of thin build.
Investigators are asking residents and business owners in the area of the crime to check their surveillance footage or dash cams for video evidence, especially between 11 p.m. and midnight.
