The Royal Canadian Mint has unveiled a collectible silver coin featuring the iconic blue whale, the country’s national symbol.

🌊 The 3D coin depicts the life of blue whales from two perspectives: a family of blue whales building a nest on one side, and an underwater view of the interior of the nest on the other.

✨ The artwork is created using the EHR technique and gold plating. The initial design was created by artist Moraud Bainton as a clay sculpture and then transformed into its final form in collaboration with 3D artist Aida Alves

. 💰 The coin is limited to 2,750 pieces and is priced at CAD$479.95 and can be purchased from the Royal Canadian Mint’s website.
