RCMP sees improvement in employees completing mandatory anti-racism training
The country’s national police force says that key changes in leadership and better communication with members were largely responsible for a dramatic turnaround amongst its employees in taking its mandatory anti-racism course.
Just shy of a year after its self-imposed deadline for having all employees take the three-hour online course “Uniting Against Racism,” the RCMP still finds its compliance rate falling short of the 100 per cent mark, though with significant improvement over dismal results at the beginning of the year.
