Pret A Manger, the international fast food restaurant chain, opened its first stand-alone restaurant in Canada in Toronto on Tuesday.

The new restaurant is located at 90 West Adelaide Street and offers a wide range of ready meals, including sandwiches, salads, soups and drinks.

Pret A Manger was founded in London in 1983 and now has more than 550 restaurants worldwide. The company will partner with A&W Food Services of Canada Inc. in 2022. Signed a deal to expand in Canada.

Jerry Brief, CEO of Pret A Manger, said, “We are very excited to be opening our first independent restaurant in Canada. "We believe Pret offers quality, affordable convenience food that will appeal to Canadian consumers."

This new restaurant is currently open 24 hours a day.

Pret A Manger plans to expand in Canada in the coming years.
