Ontario's heart-shaped lake with stunning views
Lake Ontario, shaped like a beautiful heart, truly comes alive during the autumn season when tree leaves transform into a vibrant spectrum of colors. This small lake, located near the quirky village of Ompah, approximately 100 kilometers southwest of Ottawa, has gained tremendous popularity in recent years, thanks to the stunning images shared on social media. During that time, photographers and influencers would flock to this region every autumn to capture Instagram-worthy shots.
A few years ago, the Facebook and Instagram pages of Frontenac County issued a public statement urging people to refrain from visiting this area. The statement read, "We acknowledge the breathtaking beauty of this region, but public access is restricted. Trespassing on private properties is not acceptable, and personal privacy must be respected." Since this lake also offers captivating aerial views, the use of drones has become a challenge, unintentionally generating intriguing sounds in this area. This unique combination makes it stand out among natural landscapes.
