One person dead after house fire breaks out in Leslieville
One person has died in an early morning house fire in Leslieville.
Firefighters were called shortly before 5:30 a.m. to a home on Coxwell Street, just north of East Dundas Street.
The fire broke out on the second floor and was quickly extinguished.
Toronto Emergency Services said one person was pulled from the home but died at the scene.
Information about the identity of this person and how the fire started has not yet been released.
The Toronto Fire Department said it is investigating the fatal incident.
