One person has been charged following a horrific road rage incident on Highway 11 in northern Ontario. The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking for the public's help in the investigation of a road rage incident that occurred Monday on Highway 11 near Timiskaming Shores. Dad, help.
This incident happened at the intersection of Highway 11 and Highway 65 around 1:00 PM. Timiskaming OPP are hoping to get information from anyone who was in the area at the time and has footage or dash cam footage.
"The incident involved collisions and dangerous driving by a white Toyota Rav 4 SUV," a police news release said Tuesday.
Following these collisions, the OPP made several attempts to stop the vehicle, which resulted in the use of spike tape. The suspect's car was stopped and the driver was arrested.
The footage from the victim's dash cam shows that the SUV was backing up and trying to hit the victim's car. While the incident was taking place, the police were called to the scene. The incident ended when the suspect's car repeatedly hit the victim's car in a parking lot.
No injuries were reported in the incident, but the victim was taken to a local hospital as a precaution.
