More snow expected for Ottawa region on Friday and Saturday
The third winter storm is headed for the Ottawa area this weekend, with 20 to 30 cm of snow expected in some areas this weekend.
"Another major storm is expected," Environment Canada said on its website.
"Weather conditions may resemble winter storm conditions Tuesday through Wednesday. Alter any non-essential travel plans."
Environment Canada issued a winter storm warning for the Ottawa region, saying Petawawa, Pembroke, Cobden and Killaloe areas could see between 2 and 5 centimeters of snow from Friday evening to Saturday evening.
