Lottery jackpot won by a retired man in Canada 2024
An elderly man from Hamilton, Ontario has won the lottery jackpot after 30 years of playing. "This is my first big win," Allen said in a statement released by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) on Thursday. "I've been playing for over 30 years, usually twice a week." This winning ticket was purchased at Fortino's on Dundurn Street, Hamilton.
He plans to buy a new car and make financial contributions with his newfound wealth. He also decided to share this award with his family.
Lotto 649 draws are held every Wednesday and Saturday, and players can try their luck by purchasing a $3 ticket.
