Iconic Canadian Home Hardware announces sponsorship of the Calgary Stampede
Home Hardware to sponsor Calgary Stampede
By Michael Franklin, published on June 23, 2025 at 10:53 a.m. ET:
A Canadian hardware and home improvement company with more than 60 years of experience has announced it will be a sponsor of the Calgary Stampede.
Founded in 1964 in St. Jacobs, Ontario, Home Hardware announced Monday that it will provide financial support for the 10-day event and will provide a lounge area for visitors at the festival.
This is the first time the company, which has more than 1,000 stores across Canada, has participated in the event.
Company officials said the partnership is a special opportunity to honor Canadian traditions and Home Hardware’s core values of service and community spirit.
“We are thrilled to be at the Calgary Stampede this year,” said John Pearce, the company’s chief retail officer, in a statement. “This sponsorship, along with our strategic expansion of our agricultural products, demonstrates Home Hardware’s commitment to meeting the needs of our customers and strengthening our connections with rural communities across Canada.”
As part of the partnership, Home Hardware will create a shaded seating area next to the Superwheel at the Stampede grounds, showcasing a selection of outdoor furniture and products that will be available in the brand’s stores across Canada.
The Calgary Stampede will run from July 4 to 13.
