Dr. Roxana Mehran, a renowned cardiologist, has been elected as the new president of the American Heart Association (AHA), a great honor for the scientific community and Iranians around the world.

This international physician, who is considered one of the most influential figures in the field of interventional cardiology, was born in Tehran and began her university education in New York.
