Calm after the storm: After a rainy weekend, a sunny week is ahead.
While the weather was very challenging over the weekend, the upcoming week seems to have better weather. This weekend, the Pacific Storm brought strong winds and heavy rain to the southern shores of British Columbia, causing power outages for hundreds of thousands of BC Hydro customers. BC Hydro announced on Monday that crews have restored power to 99 percent of the 235,000 affected customers. Now that everything is improving, the weather forecast predicts clear and dry conditions for most of the week. According to them, a mix of sunny and cloudy weather is expected until Friday, with temperatures ranging from 8 to 10 degrees Celsius. Strong winds are predicted for the beginning of the week, so be sure to dress warmly.
