Brampton man faces charges after car seen driving on sidewalk in viral video
A controversial video circulating on social media shows a white Lexus speeding down the sidewalk on Bovaird Drive West to avoid traffic - while only inches away from pedestrians.
The incident occurred on June 11, and after the vehicle was identified, police arrested the driver, 56-year-old Ranjit Singh, on July 9.
His license has been suspended and the vehicle has been impounded.
Police have warned that such dangerous behavior can endanger pedestrians and will result in serious penalties.
