Before attacking the Toronto taxi driver, the suspect asked her if she was a Muslim or not!
The driver of a vehicle in the parking lot of an apartment building in North York struck three individuals, resulting in the death of one of them. Emergency personnel were called to the scene on Thursday at 12:40 PM on Cassandra Boulevard near Victoria Park Avenue.
According to the Toronto police, three individuals (two women and one man) were swiftly transported to the hospital. Unfortunately, the female victim succumbed to her injuries, while the other two individuals received treatment for their injuries. The police stated that the elderly driver was arrested at the scene, and the incident is considered intentional. It was also mentioned that the driver was acquainted with the victims.
Rudy Wachtel, a resident of the building, reported, "I heard the scream of someone yelling for help. When I rushed out of my apartment, I saw two residents lying on the ground." Although the police have not yet specified the relationship between the victims and the suspect, Wachtel mentioned that the man, who is said to be around 70 years old, had conflicts with many residents of the building.
