Alberta woman hit in the face by an egg on Halloween, police search for assailant
Police are looking for a man who threw an egg at a woman in Alberta on Halloween night.
The woman was hit by the egg while handing out Halloween candy at her home on Catrie Avenue in Grand Prix.
Witnesses told police that the egg was thrown from a pickup truck that sped away from the scene heading south.
The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The van in question is described as a large car that was either beige or blue in color.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has security footage of the incident between 9:40 p.m. and 10 p.m. in the area of Katri Street between 74th and 68th streets to call Grand Prix police at 780-830-5701 or Crimestoppers at 1- Call 800-222-8477.
