A woman during a domestic dispute
A 34-year-old woman was shot in the neck by a man during a domestic dispute in Whitby. Police said they went to a gas station near South Brock Street around 4 p.m. Friday on a report of a woman with a neck injury. and Consumers Drive were called.
He was taken to a Toronto-area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police say the suspect fled the area in a car with a small child in it. He was later located and taken into custody without incident. A 40-year-old Mississauga man has been charged with assault, assault with a weapon and failure to comply with probation.
