A section of Highway 27 was closed after a Mississauga Transit bus went into a ditch
A stretch of freeway in Toronto's west end was closed after a Mississauga Transit bus plunged into a ditch this morning.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Highway 27 and Dixon Road at 11:04 a.m. for a report of a crash.
Images from the scene show what appears to be a heavily damaged MiWay bus on the side of the highway and several ambulances.
Hockey reports that 10 people have been injured.
Both northbound and southbound lanes are closed from Dixon Road to West Eglinton Avenue as the investigation continues.
