A fight over fireworks injured 2 people in the south of High Park
A fight over fireworks led to a stabbing on Martin Goodman Road late Monday night, Toronto police said. The incident happened around 10:45 p.m. near West Lake Shore Boulevard and Parkside Drive.
"It was reported that two groups of men who were playing fireworks aimed it at each other, leading to a physical altercation," police said. Police found a man in his 30s suffering from stab wounds and took him to hospital for treatment.
According to police, the second male victim was taken to the hospital with superficial injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and police have not yet released information about possible suspects.
