A 12-year-old boy stabbed a store clerk during a robbery
A 12-year-old boy is now facing charges after stabbing a store clerk while robbing an east Toronto store. Officers were called to the intersection of Danforth Avenue and Victoria Park Avenue around 10:05 p.m. Wednesday on reports of a stabbing. According to police, the suspect walked into a store near the intersection and demanded money from the cashier.
The suspect pulled out a knife and followed the store clerk, wounding her. The victim was taken to the hospital with stab wounds. Officers arrested the suspect, who was a 12-year-old boy from Toronto, on charges of armed robbery, assault and mischief near the place and found a knife from him.
