Three people fall through ice on Charleston Lake in eastern Ontario

Two people are missing again after falling through the ice on a lake northeast of Kingston on Sunday night.
Ontario Provincial Police say officers responded to a call for three people who had fallen through the ice on Lake Charleston just after 6 p.m. On Sunday, an OPP point said one of them was rescued.
According to the police, two other people were also missing last night.
Lake Charleston is located about 70 km northeast of Kingston and 130 km southwest of Ottawa.
Officers, firefighters and a helicopter from the Joint Rescue Coordination Center in Trenton were searching.

"As many people hear reports of drownings in Lake Charleston, please remember that family and friends who have lost loved ones are being identified," Corina Smith Gatke said.
