Unsuccessful search for mother who jumped from top of Niagara Falls with her two children
A 33-year-old mother and her two children, a 9-year-old and a 5-month-old baby, jumped from the top of Niagara Falls, New York police said.
It is said that efforts to search for these people and save them have been unsuccessful.
Officers responded to the area around 9:00 p.m. Monday and found a family jumping off a safety rail on Luna Island, police said Wednesday.
This small island is located between "American Falls" and "Brideville Falls", which is one of the popular tourist attractions.
"The investigation has determined that this incident was intentional in nature, but the circumstances of the incident remain under investigation," state police said in a statement.
