Two children, ages 4 and 6, missing in Pictou County
RCMP say they believe the children are missing, no signs of abduction
Two children, Jack Sullivan, 4, and Lily Sullivan, 6, were reported missing this morning in Lansdowne Station, Pictou County, Nova Scotia. Police say they believe the children are missing after they left a home on Girlock Road, about 20 kilometres southwest of New Glasgow.
A massive search is underway with police and other emergency services, with a helicopter from the Department of Natural Resources assisting in the search.
The children were reported missing at 10 a.m., RCMP spokeswoman Sgt. Carly McCann said. There is no evidence of abduction, so an Amber Alert has not been issued.
Description:
Lily: Light brown shoulder-length hair with bangs. Possibly wearing pink clothing including a pink jacket, pants, and boots.
Jack: Short blond hair. Was wearing blue boots with a dinosaur print at the time of her disappearance.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact Pictou County RCMP at 902-485-4333.
