The first snow storm of the year is coming Tuesday for the Capital Region
Ottawa drivers should be prepared for a messy Wednesday morning commute as the region could see up to 10 centimeters of snow by Tuesday afternoon.
Environment Canada's forecast for Tuesday calls for snow beginning in the afternoon and continuing into late evening and early Wednesday morning.
The National Meteorological Organization says that up to 10 centimeters of snow may fall in the capital by Wednesday morning.
Wednesday's forecast calls for mixed rain and snow with temperatures around freezing.
