Saskatchewan's workforce added more than 15,000 new full-time jobs last month

Saskatchewan's labor force added 15,200 new full-time jobs last month, new Statistics Canada data shows.
The province added 18,700 new full-time jobs this February, compared to 3,500 jobs added in February last year, according to Statistics Canada.
It boosts Saskatchewan's employment growth rate to 2.6 per cent, with job growth of 6.1 per cent in Saskatoon and six per cent in Regina.
Saskatchewan's seasonal unemployment rate is at five per cent – the third lowest among the provinces – while the federal unemployment rate is 5.8 per cent.
Immigration and Careers Minister Jeremy Harrison says the province has also set records for labor market numbers.
"Saskatchewan continues to build a strong workforce with further growth in the number of jobs," said Harrison.
"The latest numbers show how our commitment to growing our workforce is paying off."
Earlier this week, the province announced its workforce strategy aimed at preparing people for jobs, recognizing skills and recruiting internationally.
According to these statistics, currently more than 595 thousand people are working in the province with more than 627 thousand labor force.
There has been a 24.6 percent increase in investment in the private sector, and the province expects to increase it to 14.4 percent this year.
Saskatchewan ranks second among provinces in terms of expected investment growth to 2024, the data shows.
