Reopening of strawberry farms in Ontario
Ontario's strawberry farms are reopening this month, and many of them are just an hour away from Toronto. As the temperatures in and around Toronto begin to warm, it's safe to say that strawberry season is just around the corner, and farms across the province In Caledon, Downey's Strawberry and Apple Farm plans to reopen their strawberry fields on June 17. You can go to these farms and pick a basket of strawberries and enjoy picking this sweet and red product. You can also ride a tractor or cart.
Barrie Hill Farm is planning an annual strawberry festival, which this year runs from June 29 to July 1.
