"Oppenheimer" was the best film at the Golden Globe Awards
Christopher Nolan's blockbuster Oppenheimer topped the 81st Golden Globe Awards, winning five awards, including best drama, while Les Miserables beat buzzer Barbie for best drama. The film became a comedy or musical.
"Oppenheimer" also won Best Director for Nolan, Best Actor in a Drama for Cillian Murphy, Best Supporting Actor for Robert Downey Jr. and Best Score for Ludwig Goransson.
"Les Miserables" is a surreal and sexy coming-of-age story in which "Emma Stone" was able to win the award for best actress in a comedy category for her no-holds-barred performance as Bella Baxter.
The film Barbie, which turned the nostalgia of a popular doll into a bitter satire about misogyny and discrimination against women's empowerment, ended its career at the Golden Globes with only two awards. This movie was able to win the award for the best song with the performance of "Billie Eilish" and his brother "Phineas".
The award for best screenplay and the award for best non-English language film went to the French drama "Anatomy of a Fall".
"The Boy and the Herons" directed by Hayao Miyazaki also won the award for the best animated film.
