Manitoba government says efficiency will free up hydroelectric capacity
Premier Wab Kinew said Monday that encouraging people to reduce their energy use through efficiency measures like heat pumps is the first priority in ensuring Manitoba has enough capacity in its hydroelectric system.
"Heat pump technology is advancing by leaps and bounds," Kinew told reporters.
