Five people have been arrested on firearms and drug-related charges in Vaughan and Brampton

The police officers of Peel Department, on Friday around 12:00 PM, arrested five men from Brampton on charges related to firearms and narcotics crimes. On that day, in the area of Highway 50 and Rutherford Road in Vaughan, Peel police officers identified and, as a result of their investigation, charged three men with unlawful possession of firearms. Later on the same day, around 3:44 PM, authorities arrested two more men in Brampton on charges of unlawful possession of firearms.

Amandeep Singh, a 21-year-old from Brampton, was arrested on 11 charges, including unlawful firearm possession and two counts of failure to comply with freedom orders. Ramanpreet Singh, a 30-year-old from Brampton, and Maninder Singh, a 21-year-old from Brampton, were both charged with six counts related to firearms. Suvanpreet Singh, a 20-year-old from Brampton, and Juvanpreet Singh, a 20-year-old from Brampton, were both arrested on charges of possessing unauthorized firearms and possessing a prohibited device or ammunition.
