Canadians across the country celebrated New Year's Day with a so-called "Polar Bear" swim
The York Regional Police in the Canadian province of Ontario announced that they discovered 25 stolen cars worth $2.2 million in a warehouse in the city of Hamilton. These cars included different models such as Chevrolet, Ford, Toyota and Honda.
Police say the vehicles were stolen across Ontario and other Canadian provinces since early 2023. They believe that these cars were intended for sale to car smugglers abroad.
Police continue their investigation to identify and arrest the thieves. This discovery is the largest stolen vehicle recovery in the history of York Regional Police.
