Canadian soccer fans treated like stars at the Gray Cup Festival in Hamilton
In celebration of the 110th Grey Cup, James Street North in Hamilton is immersed in colorful costumes and even more interesting characters this week.
The downtown road is closed from York Boulevard to Barton Street East for a street party ahead of Sunday's game, featuring live music, local artists, games, and food. The festivities began on Thursday, which was warm, and despite cold and damp weather moving in on Friday, locals and tourists continued to participate actively.
The latest information from Hamilton indicates that thousands of people attended the event from Thursday to Friday.
