Cambridge man charged in connection to pedestrian hit and run
A Cambridge man is facing multiple charges after a vehicle hit a pedestrian.
It happened around 5:50 a.m. on Dec. 28 in the area of Saginaw Parkway and Franklin Boulevard in Cambridge.
Waterloo Regional Police say a 27-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle and the driver fled the scene.
He was taken to a hospital outside the area with injuries.
The police were looking for the driver responsible for this car by publishing photos of the suspect car.
A 55-year-old man was arrested on December 29 and charged with:
Public mischief
Careless driving
Failure to report an accident
Not asking for permission after becoming the owner
