Average gas prices are likely to rise 4 cents a liter Friday in southern Ontario
Gasoline prices are expected to rise by about four cents per liter in most Ontario this weekend due to conflict in the Middle East and several other factors in the province, according to an industry expert.
Dan McTeague, head of Canadians for Affordable Energy, predicts that much of southern Ontario, including Toronto, Ottawa, Hamilton, London and Barrie, will see an increase of $1.569 a liter on Friday. brings it close to 1.62 dollars. This figure was the price per liter last year at the same time.
