Environment and Climate Change Canada has released its fall forecast, predicting above-normal fall temperatures and dry conditions in Ontario.

The National Weather Service has released a map with high, low and near-normal temperature forecasts covering the period from September to November. The map shows a large dark red area covering a significant portion of Canada, including It covers most of Ontario, which indicates above-normal temperatures this fall.

While the darkest red part doesn't cover the most populated areas of Ontario, there's still a good chance that areas like metropolitan Toronto and Ottawa will experience warmer conditions as the colder months approach.

Toronto has an 81% chance and Ottawa has an 82% chance of seeing above-normal temperatures during these three months.

As for precipitation, Ontario residents may see fewer days next fall.
