The landing of the Iranian plane at Toronto's Pearson Airport
On Tuesday, during a challenging landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport, an Air Canada plane caught the attention of cameras as it underwent a hard landing. In the footage captured by Wake Turbulence Aviation and shared on social media, the aircraft is seen initially making contact with the ground with its right wheels, then, upon impact, veering to the left and taking an oscillating motion.
A spokesperson for Air Canada stated that this particular flight, which had taken off from Narita Tokyo on Tuesday, experienced difficulty during landing at Pearson Toronto due to strong wind gusts. The airline mentioned in a statement, "The Boeing 777 aircraft moved towards the gate after landing, and as a precautionary measure, it underwent an inspection on November 14."
According to the airline, there were 373 passengers on board during this flight, and no injuries have been reported. Air Canada emphasized that its pilots are experienced, skilled, and well-trained to manage and control various situations, including adverse wind conditions.
