An Etobicoke man has won a $2 million lottery prize
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) announced that Tuisco Buchholz of Etobicoke won the $2 million Ontario Lottery 49 jackpot on May 8. Tuisco, who works as a consultant, has been playing the lottery for almost 10 years. "I got an email from OLG that I didn't think was anything special at first," he said. But when I checked the OLG app, I was shocked. I'll check it again to make sure it's real." He continued, "I was so happy that I woke up my wife. He was shocked like me. "I always knew that one day I would win, but I never expected such a victory." His winning ticket was purchased online. Ontario 49 costs $1 per game and draws are held every Wednesday and Saturday.
